Goa - Obtain Family Migration Certificate

ProcedureEdit

This certificate is issued in the interest of citizens migrating from one place to another place.
Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for the Family Migration certificate, the applicant has to approach their area Mamlatdar office to apply.
  2. Link for contact: link
  3. Go to the respective office.
  4. Collect the application form or write on a plain A4 sheet as advised.
  5. Complete the application form. Attach the entire required document as per our “required document” section and submit it along with required fees to the designated authority.
  6. Authorities after checking the attached documents and submitted application will make entries and provide you record number for reference.
  7. This application will be processed further. Submitted details and documents will be verified for authenticity.
  8. Once the verification is over, these officials will submit their report to the respective superior authority to decide the issue of Certificate to the applicant.
  9. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection if any will be conveyed to the applicant through an SMS.
  10. If approved, the certificate will be hand delivered or sent through post to the address mentioned while applying or issued as per applicable norms.


Note:
  • Applicant has to bring original documents while applying for verification and scanning if required.
  • Without cross signature on photograph and signature on undertaking the application will be rejected


Apply Online:

  1. The applicant must register on link by providing email id, mobile no, name, address and date of birth along with OTP authentication.
  2. On successful registration, the applicant need to login using credentials and click on Services Menu --> All Services --> Technical Education --> Migration Certificate.
  3. The applicant need to enter mandatory fields such as student's Name, Address, Mobile No, State, taluka and village. Also Enter the course details by selecting Institute, Diploma programme undergone, Enrollment No and other details.
  4. The applicant need to Upload Self attested Final Marksheet of Diploma and the Self attested Leaving certificate of the institute in JPEG/PDF format with size less than 2MB and greater than 10KB.
  5. Now , the applicant need to Click on the submit application button and proceed to fee Payment. Once the application is authorized (approved/rejected), the status will be communicated via SMS/EMail.
  6. Upon receipt of the Approval status, the applicant need to download the Migration Certificate by clicking download link from the dashboard.

  • Self-declaration of the applicant.

  • Apart from the above documents authorities may ask for additional information or documents. Please provide them for processing.

  • The citizen who needs this certificate should be a permanent resident of the old state while applying.
  • Those citizens transferring/shifting from one place to another place are eligible to apply.
