ProcedureEdit

  1. To obtain a Whale Watching and Swimming License, applicants will need to file an application to the Ministry of Commerce, Tourism and Labour.
  2. Applicants will need to complete an application form. Use the link provided under 'Documents to Use' section to download the form.
  3. Submit the completed form together with these following documents:
    1. Foreign Investors Only: Where the business is a foreign investment business under the Foreign Investment Act 2002, a Foreign Investment Certificate is REQUIRED before issuance of a Licence.
    2. Third party public liability insurance policy
    3. Seaworthiness Certificate
    4. Valid Masters Certificate
    5. Coasting Trading Licence
    6. Photo Identification (only if operator is a sole trader or partnership)
  4. Once approved you will be required to pay the prescribed licence fee prior to issuance of your Licence.
