Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application for registering of Technical Institution in Tanzania is available in The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) contact link
2. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure is mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of all documents along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
6. Downloadable application form for this procedure is available in the following link
7. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
8. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the registration will be done within 3 months.
9. Applicant will be notified by concerned authorities regarding the availability of the registration.
10. After getting this notification the applicant can visit the office for knowing status of their application.

• Ownership of Institutions such as Constitutions
• Charter of the Constitutions
• Articles of Association
• Business License
• Curricula for the intended program approved by NACTE
• Master plan od the Institutions
• Evidence of Sources of Funding other than student’s fees.
• Adequate infrastructure, human, physical and financial resources.
• Evidence of Physical Structure development or hire of premises.
• Evidence of procuring and/or plans for acquiring equipment and learning materials.
• Organizational Structure of the Institutions and
• Name and CV of Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Any Institute in Tanzania that are fully operating in Tanzania with enough experience for running technical programs are eligible.

Fees

Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.

Validity

Registration of a technical Institution is valid forever.
