Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for getting license for changing of vehicle ownership in absence of previous owner is available in Tanzania Revenue Authority contact link
2. Applicant must provide all information that is requested in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant should make sure to attach photocopies of all documents that are needed for completing this procedure along with the application form while submitting the form at the office.
6. Fee for this procedure can be paid as per the authority’s request.
7. Thus, processing time for this procedure is within 2 months.
8. If there is no information regarding the change is provided within 2 month, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
