Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for getting hunting and Safaris License in Tanzania is available in the Tanzania Forest Service Agency contact link
2. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure to carry all documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Applicant must carry both photocopies and originals of these necessary documents.
5. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
6. After the application is submitted at the office, concerned authorities will send a team of inspectors to the applicant’s address to have a physical inspection of the proposed business establishment and vehicles.
7. If the applicant passes this inspection test, a payment invoice will be generated and the applicant will be requested to receive the invoice from the office.
8. After receiving the payment invoice, applicant has to visit the National Microfinance Bank contact link
9. Applicant has to pay the respective fee as mentioned in the invoice at the Bank.
10. Once the payment is successful, applicant has to provide the signed receipt of payment at the Tanzania Forest Service Agency to complete the license application procedure.
11. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, concerned authorities will send a notification to the applicant between 15 to 25 days.
12. Applicant has to visit the Forest Service Agency office to get their license after getting the notification.
13. If there is no information regarding the license is provided even after 30 days, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.

1. Application for Hunting and Safaris License in Tanzania is available in the following website login link
2. If applicant is an existing user, applicant can login using their registered “Email Address” and “Password”.
3. If applicant is a new user, they have to register their details by clicking on the “Register” button.

5. Applicant has to enter their “First Name”, “Middle Name”, “Last Name”, “Password” and other details requested in the online registration form.
6. After entering all necessary details, applicant should check on the “Terms and Conditions” box.
7. Finally, applicant has to click on the “Register” button which is at the bottom of this page.
8. Once the registration is successful, applicant can login directly using their “Email Address” and “Password”.
9. After logging in, applicant has to choose the service that provides a Hunting and Safaris License.
10. Documents that are required for completing this procedure is provided under “Required Documents” section of this page.
11. Applicant must upload digital copies of documents (whichever is requested) on the online application form.
12. Fee for this procedure can be paid online once after the inspection is done.
13. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, notification regarding the license will be provided to the applicant within 15 to 25 days.
14. Applicant can visit the office to collect their license or request the authority to send the license via post.
15. Applicant can also visit the office to know status of their application.
