Procedure

Apply by Mail:

1. To Apply for Registration and Training of Student Dental Technicians or Dental Technologists, the applicant must go to the South African Dental Technicians Council’s (SADTC) office. Contact Link
2. The application form (s) must be obtained from the authorities at the SADTC office, else the application form can be downloaded from the official website linked here. Application Form
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The application form must be filled with all the necessary details, and along with the required documents, it must be sent via registered mail or through courier service to the SADTC office.
5. The applicant sending mail or the courier must address the application to the “Registrar of the SADTC”.
6. The application will then be verified by the official at the SADTC members.
7. If the details and the documents submitted by the applicant is valid and legitimate, then the registration of Student Dental Technician and Technologists will be approved by the officials at the SADTC.
8. Then the applicant will be issued with the registration certificate as a physical copy as well as electronic copy of the registration certificate will be sent to the applicant email.
9. The registration fee details and the processing time to get the registration certificate will be intimated to the applicant while applying.
