Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for getting a letter of good standing in person, the applicant has to visit the Compensation fund section of the department of Employment and Labour.
2. The contact details and address details of the Compensation fund section of the department of Employment and Labour can be found in the following link: Link
3. Visit the office of the Compensation Fund in the Employment and Labour Department and obtain an application form to file your Return of Earning, from the relevant authority.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents required for the process as instructed by the authorities.
5. Complete the form as required with relevant details and information under respective sections. Attach the required documents (if any) with the form.
6. Submit it to the relevant authority in the office. Within the stipulated period of time, the office will forward you an Assessment Notice that contains the description of amount that should be paid to the Compensation fund as fees.
7. Once you have paid the amount as prescribed by the Department, a Letter of Good Standing will be issued to you with prior intimation.

1. To apply for getting a letter of good standing online, the applicant has to visit the following link: Link
2. On the right side, enter the username, password and click “Login” button if you already have an account. Else make a new registration by clicking on “Click Here To Register” option.
3. In the registration page, enter the ID number and click “Get Individual” button to verify your identity number with the compensation fund. Then, fill all the other mandatory fields with relevant details and click “Submit” button.
4. You may receive an email with a verification link by clicking which your account will be activated and you will be asked to create a password for your account.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the account creation process and enter into the website by logging in as mentioned before.
6. After logging in, find applicable option to file your Earning returns and click on it. Then, follow the on-screen instructions and complete the returns filing process.
7. Then, you will be prompted to pay the required amount of fees. Make the payment as directed by the on-screen instructions.
8. Once payment has been done, your letter of Good Standing will be available to be downloaded or will be sent to you as your specification.

• Any employer or a client of Compensation fund, who wants to involve in a contract or tender, can also apply to obtain a Letter of Good Standing.
