ProcedureEdit

Apply In Person

  1. To Request for Social Assistance, the applicant has to approach nearby Social Service Office (SSO) of Ministry of Social and Family Development contact link
  2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the authority officer.
  3. Read through the instruction carefully and fill the applicant form correctly, please verify that all the information is correct (Incomplete application form will be rejected)
  4. Make sure the applicant has all the required documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Attach the photocopies of the document along with the application form, and submit the application form to the relevant authority.
  6. After submitting the application form the authority will contact the applicant within five working days.
  7. If the application meets all the requirements, the applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as per the authority request.
  8. Upon successful completion, request for Social Assistance will be granted to the applicant within the stipulated period of time.
