Apply In-Person:
- To Request for Sealed Source Leakage Test, the applicant has to approach National Environment Agency’s Radiation Protection and Nuclear Science Division link
- The applicant has to download and complete the application form given in the following application form
- The applicant has to complete all necessary details in the application form.
- Make sure the applicant has all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the documents along with the application form.
- The fee for this procedure was given in the “Fees” section of this page.
- Submit the application form to National Environment Agency’s Radiation Protection and Nuclear Science Division either directly or via post. contact details of the office were given in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
- The authority will review the application and contact the applicant via email or SMS.
- The processing time of the application takes up to 3 weeks and the applicant Customer will receive the report via email.

Need for the DocumentEdit
- Under the Radiation Protection (Ionising Radiation) Regulations, any person who possesses or has under his control any radioactive sealed source shall ensure that a wipe test for radioactive sealed source is performed by a qualified individual at least once every year. This is to ensure that there is no leakage of a radioactive substance. RPNSD provides analytical laboratory services to analyze wipe test samples for any radioactive contamination.
