Apply In Person

1. To Register with MediSave Maternity Package, the applicant has to approach the MINISTRY OF HEALTH link
2. Applicant has to get the application form from the respective office.
3. Applicant has to fill all the necessary details in the application form.
4. Make sure that you have all the needed documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After completing the form, submit the completed application form along with the necessary documents to the respective authority.
6. Once the above process gets over, the authority will issue the granted document to the applicant by visiting the health department office.
7. Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
8. The processing time for this procedure is within 15days.

Need for the Document

• The MediSave Maternity Package (MMP) is a package that allows MediSave to be used to pay for: Pre-delivery medical expenses (such as consultations, ultrasounds, tests and medications) Delivery expenses (such as medical expenses, delivery procedure charges and daily hospital charges).

Information which might help

This covers delivery expenses, as well as pre-delivery medical expenses such as consultations and ultrasound, in public and private hospitals. You may withdraw:

• up to $900 for pre-delivery medical expenses,
• an additional surgical withdrawal limit ranging from $750 to $2,600 depending on the type of delivery procedure, and
• up to $550 per day for the first two days of admission and $400 per day from the third day onwards for the hospital stay.

To claim pre-delivery charges from Medisave, present the bills incurred for pre-delivery medical care to the hospital where your baby was delivered. The hospital will submit these bills to the CPF Board for you, together with the delivery expenses. The amount of Medisave that can be used is capped by the amount of the actual bill or the withdrawal limit, whichever is lower.
