Procedure

Apply online

1. To Apply for PIC cash Pay-out, the applicant has to make the application in Central Provident fund board or tap the following link
2. The applicant has to log in with their Sing Pass app.

   Note: If the applicant doesn’t have singpass app he/she can download app from the app store.

3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary information in the application form (Incomplete application form are not accepted).
4. The applicant has to upload all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After uploading the documents review the application and click submit.
6. Fee payment details are mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
7. The authority will review the application and contact the applicant via email or SMS.
8. The processing time of the application takes up to 3 months.

Any company or partnership has to first authorise an employee, business owner (director or partner) or a third party, such as a tax agent, for 'PIC Cash Pay-out' are eligible to make this application.

Processing Time

• The processing time for this procedure takes up to Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) strives to disburse the cash pay-out within 3 months of receiving your complete application. In most cases, IRAS processes the applications within 6 weeks.

Need for the Document

Under the Productivity and Innovation Credit (PIC) scheme, businesses (sole proprietorships, partnerships, companies (including registered business trusts), registered branches and subsidiaries of a foreign parent or holding company) can enjoy 400% tax deductions/ allowances for qualifying expenditure incurred in any of the 6 qualifying activities from YAs 2011 to 2018.
