Apply In Person
- To Apply for Man Year Entitlement (MYE), the applicant has to approach Ministry of Manpower Link
- The applicant can download the application form from the following Link
- Read through the instruction carefully and fill the applicant form correctly, please verify that all the information is correct (Incomplete application form will be rejected)
- The applicant has to attach the required documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- After completing the application form the applicant has to post out the form to Construction and Process Section of ministry of Manpower. contact details of the office address was given in “Office Location and Contacts” section of this page)
- After submitting the application form the authority will contact the applicant within 12 working days.
- If the application meets all the requirements, the applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as per the authority request.
- Upon successful completion, Man Year Entitlement (MYE) will be granted to the applicant within the stipulated period of time.
- The authority officer will contact the main contractor for an appointment if necessary.
- The outcome of the application will be mailed to the company.
Note:
- Only main contractors can apply for man-year entitlements.
- All sub-contractors must get their MYE allocation from the main contractor.

- A photocopy of the contract, letter of award or letter of acceptance dated and signed by the developer or
- Owner, containing the following details:
- Commencement and completion dates of the project
- Contract value of the project
- Contract description and location of the construction site
- A photocopy of the BCA Permit or their equivalent for carrying out building works and the latest notice of approval for the same project (BCA Permit is optional for the Government or a private project/s without structural works).

EligibilityEdit
At the time of the MYE application:
- The main contractor must have a valid Central Provident Fund (CPF) account for construction Work Permit applications in the company’s name.
- The project must have a balance period of at least 1 month.
- The total remaining contract value must be at least $500,000.

- Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority request.

- The validity of Man Year Entitlement (MYE) is applicable for stated project only.

Need for the DocumentEdit
The man-year entitlement (MYE) applies to construction and process sector workers from non-traditional source countries and China. If a contractor wants to hire such workers, applicant needs to apply for MYE before applying for their Work Permits.
