1. To check the validity of a Philippines driver’s license the applicant needs to send a text to 2600.
2. The applicant needs to draft the text as follows: LTO LICENSE [Driver’s license number] and send it to 2600.

   For example,: Text LTO LICENSE N08888888 and send to 2600.

3. After sending the text message, the LTO response system immediately replies your inquiry.
4. The reply will give the following details
   • Period of license validity
   • If there has been any apprehension.
   • If there is any LTO alarm.
5. A charge of Php 2.50 is charged for the service.
