Procedure

Apply In Person:

1. To Apply for a Driver's License with Additional Restriction (ARC 1 Motorcycle Driver License), the applicant has to approach the LTO Central Office link
2. The applicant has to carry all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
3. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
4. And the applicant has to get the queue number from the service counter.
5. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
6. Once they called, the applicant has to submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
7. The fee for this procedure is mentioned in the “Fees” section of this page.
8. Pay the fee at the cash counter and get the receipt for further reference.
9. The applicant has to complete the practice test and vision test.
10. Once all the test and verification process gets completed successfully, the applicant will get the license from the office.
11. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

Need for the Document

• Driving Restrictions for Conditional and Special Restricted Licenses. The applicant cannot have more than two passengers under 21 in the car with him/her unless the applicant is with a licensed adult who is at least 21. The only exception is if you are transporting family members or students to and from school.
