Rwanda - Obtain Recommendation From Rwanda Mines Petroleum and Gas board (RMB) for Minerals Buying And Selling License

Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. Visit the Rwanda Mines, Petroleum and Gas Board (RMB) office to obtain the application form or refer to “documents to use” section below to download the form and fill it with the correct information
2. Write an application letter addressed to the chief executive officer of the Rwanda Mines, Petroleum and Gas Board requesting the recommendation and prepare the rest of the supporting documents
3. File the complete application in a single file and visit the Rwanda Mines, Petroleum and Gas Board office, Business Support Services in Mining Investment Unit to submit your application at the reception
4. The assisting officer at the reception will verify your application and forward it for further assessment and approval by the RMB
5. The RMB will visit your business to conduct an inspection to determine if you meet the required standards
6. Once RMB determine that you application has meet the requirements, they will write a recommendation letter and issue it to you
