Procedure

• This visa is granted to visitors through authorized hotels operating in Qatar or sponsoring resident with relationship to the applicant through Qatar Airways.
• It is valid for one month and non-extendable.
  
  

Apply In-Person

1. Authorized hotels operation in Qatar can apply for a tourist visa for their visitors by submitting an application to the Airport Passports and Security Department of the Ministry of interior . The contact infromation of the Ministry of Interior can be found through the following link .
2. This is done by downloading the “Tourist Visa Application Form” by the hotel manager or his/her representative.
3. The form can be obtained from visiting the Ministry of Interiors MOI Website or downloading it from the following link: Tourist Visa Application Form
4. Fill in the paper form, then submit it through the hotel manager or his representative to the Airport Passports and Security Department of the Ministry of interior office.
5. Attach the following documents:

   • Clear passport copy of the visitor with 6 months validity
   • Original establishment ID card of the hotel or the tourist agency.
   • ID of the applicant (for verifying the sponsor)

6. Make the appropriate payments using a debit and credit card and attach the acknowledgement receipt to the application document and required documents.
7. The Airport Passports and Security Department Officials will go through the application and if everything is okay the application for the tourist visa will be approved.
8. The hotel will be notified on the collection of the visa.
9. Carry identification documents when collection the tourist visa.

Apply Online

1. To make an online application for a tourist visa the sponsoring resident should visit the HUKOOMI Qatar e-Government Portal to make the application.

   • The applicant (Sponsor) c should be a relative or an in-law to the visor

2. Here fill the in the required information. These include:-

   • The visitor’s details
   • Passport details
   • Sponsors Address
   • Description of Sponsor (Qatari ID)
   • Dependents travelling along with visitor

3. Click on “Next” button when you finish entering the required information to go to the next page.
4. Upload the required documents in the next page wait for the approval message. The required documents include:

   • Copy of visitor’s passport with six-month validity
   • Copy of valid passport and residence permit of the sponsor
   • Documents proving sponsorship

5. An approval pop-up message will display that the application has been approved and you can proceed to make the payment of the tourist visa using a debit card or credit card.
6. After payment of the fees the application will be processed and a copy of the Tourist Visa will be generated online.
7. you can print the tourist visa and also send a copy to the visitor.
