Apply In-Person:

  1. To submit a petition to the attorney general, applicant has to visit the Public Prosecution office.
  2. For Public Prosecution office contact click here: Contact link
  3. Applicant has to type the letter clarifying the reason of the petition.
  4. Please take print out of the letter and attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below.
  5. Check the letter and then submit it to the respective officer in the Public Prosecution office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
  6. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
  7. After verification process, your request will be taken into consideration.



Apply Online

  1. To submit a petition to the attorney general through online, visit the following link: online portal
    • Note: link is temporarily not working.
  2. If you already have an Tawtheeq account, please login using the credentials or if you are a new user you need to click applicable option to create new account.
  3. After successful login, please select “Service” menu and click on “Applications of the Attorney General's Office” option then click on “Request a Petition to the Attorney General” option.
  4. Now complete the form with necessary information and you can upload the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below then click on “Send” button.
  5. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
  6. After verification process, your request will be taken into consideration.

  • The Ministry has the authority to abandon the candidate or take any official action against forgery or manipulation of data by the applicant.
  • Visiting the Public Prosecution building during the official working hours, from Sunday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.
