Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To request housing for widow, applicant has to visit the citizen housing department at the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (ADLSA) office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: Application form
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the citizen housing department in the ADLSA office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, housing for widow will be approved.

1. To request housing for widow through online, visit the following link: Online Portal

2. After visiting the website, login using your smart card to the National Authentication System.
3. After successful login, please choose the applicable option to request housing for widow.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and you can upload the required documents mentioned in the required documents section below then click on applicable button.
5. Once you complete this, you will be redirected to a screen in which you can review your information.
6. After reviewing your information, click on applicable button to submit your application.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After the verification process, housing for widow will be approved.

Required Documents

• Copy of QID cards of the widow and her deceased husband.
• Copy of QID cards or birth certificates of children.
• Copy of death certificate and legal heir certificate.
• Certificate proving that the widow didn’t get married, after the death of her husband.
• Certificate of real estate registration determination of property.
• Certified lease in case of a rented property or an undertaking to bring a lease in addition to the electricity and water number if approved.
• Salary certificate from the deceased husband’s employer if available.

• Applicant should have a smart card to use this service.
