Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To renew valid visa, applicant has to visit the General Directorate of Passports at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) office.

3. Obtain the application form from the respective officer at Ministry of Interior (MOI) office.
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the general directorate of passports in the Ministry of Interior (MOI) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After verification process, valid visa will be renewed.

Apply Online

1. To renew valid visa through online, visit the following link: online portal. After visiting website, slightly scroll down and select the “E-services” option.
2. If you are an existing user, please login using the credentials or if you are a new user you need to click applicable option to create new account.
3. After successful login, select the required transaction type (Personal for the smart card owner or Company Name for the authorized person) from the dropdown menu.
4. Please click on “Entry Visas” option and then select “Renew Visa Validity” option.
5. Now complete the form with necessary information in "Visa Details" page and Enter the visa number consists of 12 digits in "Visa Number" and click "Query" button to view entered visa details and renewal fees.
6. If you want to add other visas,repeat the previous step to enter details of other visas, up to a maximum of five visas at a time.
7. click on "Delete" button if you want to remove an entered visa.
8. After viewing your visa details, click on "Next" button to view visa renewal information and the total fees details.
9. After viewing your renewal information and the fees details, click on "Renew Visa" button to be moved to bank screen to pay the applicable fees.
10. Now pay the applicable fees through your debit or credit card.
11. After successful payment, the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
12. After verification process, valid visas will be renewed.

• Applicant who have Qatar ID card are eligible to apply.

• A fee of QR200 is applicable to renew a valid visa.
