Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. For a Security Service Company to obtain a license to hire weapons, purchase or carry firearms and ammunition, it has to visit Establishments and Authorities Security Department at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) offices to make the application for the license. 2. Here you will be issued with a Licensing Form for Weapons hire, purchase, or carrying of firearms and ammunition to fill and submit. The application form can be also obtained from the MOI Website or can be accessed using the following link: Licensing Form for Weapons hire, purchase or carrying of firearms and ammunition and filled before you visit the Establishments and Authorities Security Department offices.
3. Fill in all the required information correctly, print the completed form, and then attach the required documents. The documents are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. Proceed to make payment for registration using a debit or credit card then submit the application form, required documents and payment receipt to the Establishments and Authorities Security Department officials.
5. The Establishments and Authorities Security Department officials will go through the application to determine if everything is in order. If everything is in order your application will be approved.
6. The processing time is usually for five days. However, the processing time may vary depending on the accuracy of the information you gave in your application form

2. Articles of incorporation documents attested from the ministry of justice.
3. Copy of personal identification document of partners, the applicant, and authorized signatories.
4. Filled in of Application for form with signature
5. Copy of registration certificate
6. Copy of commercial license
7. Collective approval signed by partners
8. Letter from the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Vice-Chairman or Managing Director (For joint-stock companies)

• Submit the completed application form to the Establishments and Authorities Security Department offices at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) for review and processing.
