ProcedureEdit

  • Go to the Bureau of Vital Statistics (registrar or a person acting or her delegate) where the birth took place.
  • Submit all the required documents.
  • Pay the administrative fee.

Any interested person or his authorized representative may apply to obtain a birth certificate.



FeesEdit

You will need to pay an administrative fee of 2dh to receive the birth certificate.

A Birth Certificate is valid for three months.

Need for the DocumentEdit

A Birth Certificate states the name and sex of a person, it also indicate the time and place of birth, it is issued after you have registered the birth of a child. A copy of the birth certificate is often necessary when you apply for certain administrative procedures, such as obtaining the CIN or renewal.

It should be noted that two there are two types of birth extract: a full extract and extract summary.

Following are procedures on how you can obtain a birth certificate in Morocco.



Information which might helpEdit

Birth certificates are issued to Canada born applicants only. The Consulate will issue an Individual record sheet (instead of the birth certificate) for other applicants, upon presentation of the applicant's father/'s vital statistics booklet or a Birth certificate in French even outdated. The Birth certificates are issued only at the applicant's birth place.
