Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for assigning a government plot, you should visit the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) office in your region, please view the contact details and location maps of the municipalities through this link: Link
2. Prepare the required supporting document for your application as mention in the “Required Documents” section below
3. Download the application form directly from this link: Link and fill it accordingly
4. Attach the required supporting documents to the application form in a single fill
5. Visit the Municipality premise in your location and submit the complete application to the Land and Survey Department customer service desk at the urban planning sector office
6. The customer service officer will verify your application and forward it to the relevant authority for assessment
7. The Land and Survey Department will assess the application and approve your acknowledgment, sign the acknowledgement form and give their remarks
8. Then the application will be sent to the to the land association section and the Lands and Surveys Department director to Authenticate the acknowledgement by signing it
