Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To apply for enter visa for residence, applicant has to visit the Expatriates affairs department at the Ministry of Interior (MOI) office.

3. Application form can be downloaded from the below link: Application form
4. Now complete the form with necessary information and make sure you have all the documents in hand that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. After filling the form, attach the documents mentioned in the required documents section below with the completed application form.
6. Check the application form and then submit it to the respective officer in the Expatriates affairs Department in the Ministry of Interior(MOI) office. The address is mentioned in the office locations & contacts section below.
7. Now the authorities will verify your application and validate the submitted documents.
8. After the verification process, residence entry visa is approved.

Required Documents

• Typed application form.
• Copy of applicant’s ID card.
• Copy of passport.
• A letter from the ministry or concerned authorities of the state.
• A certificate copy of good conduct (police clearance) which is certificate by the relevant authorities for adults.
• Children birth certificate attested by MOFA and also Qatar embassy in your country.
• Marriage certificate attested by MOFA and also Qatar embassy in your country.

Instructions

• In the “Metrash2” mobile Application, one who has Qatar ID can easily login and enter into the application to make use of the services provided.
• The application form must be typed in Arabic only. Except the name, which should be typed in Arabic and English as written in the passport.
• The application is not pursued for the period of three months can be cancelled.
