ProcedureEdit

  • The No Objection Letter on Providing Residency to Beneficiary is a letter addressed to the Ministry of Interior , issued by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME), stating the beneficiary’s request to obtain residency.
  • The end-users of this service are individuals or juridical persons represented by companies, foreign entities, international organizations, or foreign institutions (Non-Qatari natural or judicial).


Apply In Person

  1. To make the application for the No Objection Letter, the Beneficiary requesting residency by real estate and housing units benefit must visit the Real Estate Registration and Housing Units Office premises, providing all supporting documents to the receptionist at the reception. The supporting documents are mentioned in the “Documents” section of this page.
  2. The receptionist will provide a request form for the No Objection Letter for the beneficiary to fill and submit.
  3. Once you fill the request form, the receptionist will review and verify the request and the supporting documents and will proceed to fill a Ministry of Interior related form.
  4. The receptionist will then submit the documents to the typist to prepare the No objection letter. The receptionist will prepare the letter addressed to the Ministry of Interior, provided by related a Ministry of Interior form and supporting documents. Once done the typist will forward the letter to the office head.
  5. The letter is then approved by the office head and municipality director.
  6. After this the receptionist will hand over the NO Objection Letter on Providing Residency to Beneficiary (Doha Municipality).
  7. The beneficiary is can now take the letter do to a follow up with Ministry of Interior
  8. The process takes a period of one day.
