Apply In-Person:
- To apply for registering for Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD) in person, the applicant has to visit any accredited Approved Provider centre.
- The address and contact details can be found in the “Office Locations & Contacts” section of this page.
- Visit the office as applicable and obtain the application form to be completed for registering for Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD) from the relevant department.
- Complete the application form with appropriate information and required details under respective sections.
- Attach the documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section of this page, with the completed forms.
- Now, submit the application package to the relevant official at the office.
- The application and other documents will be forwarded for required verification and examination processes.
- On completion of all the necessary processes, the applicant will be notified through phone or email and informed about the approval.
- Meanwhile, the applicant can also contact the office regarding the application status.
Apply Online
- To apply for registering for Mandatory Continuing Professional Development (MCPD) online, the applicant has to first obtain registration as a Pharmacist.
- In order to apply for registering as a Pharmacist, the applicant should first visit the office of their State Chairman of Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) and collect their clearance note which will be issued as a proof of their Regularisation of membership in PSN.

- Visit the State chairman office and complete the regularisation procedure by paying the compulsory building fee as prescribed.
- On completing it, the official will issue a clearance note which you should take and visit the PCN state office.

- Visit PCN office in your State and present the clearance from PSN to collect a SCRATCH CARD (this card is free).
- Now, you have obtained the scratch card, you can enter the following portal and make your registration: online application link
- If you have already registered, click “Log in” button at the top and enter the user details, then click “Log in” button to enter into the portal.
- If not, click “Sign Ups” option and enter the secret number present in the scratch card in the field provided and click “continue” button.
- You will be redirected to the registration page. Complete the registration form for the current year with the required details under relevant sections.
- After completing, click submit button to submit the registration form.
- On submission of the application, the applicant will be displayed with instructions regarding the further processes.
- Follow the onscreen instructions and complete the registration process. Pay the required fees amount through the online payment gateway.
- Once you are done with it, the application and other documents will be forwarded for examination and verification processes.
- If the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take required steps to issue the Annual license in Form H and Certificate of Registration as a Pharmacist in Form E.
- When the documents are ready to be collected, the applicant will receive a notification from the office through email or phone call regarding the collection and the applicant can collect them by any applicable means.
- After obtaining registration as a pharmacist, the applicant should visit the following link to register for MCPD: registration link
- Scroll down and enter your PCN registration number and Passwordin the relevant fields provided, then click “Login” button.
- After logging in, you will be prompted to update your profile details. Make the necessary changes and click “Update Profile” button.
- Then, click “MCPD Dashboard” to view the available modules and the courses contained in it.To see a summary of the course content, click on the module and a summary of the module will be displayed.
- In the next page, click “Remita” tab and make the necessary fees payment for the module.
- If you have your RRR or Order ID, please enter it the field provided. The payment amount requiredfor your module will be displayed.
- Choose an applicable option for payment and make payment by following on-screen instructions. After successful payment, click “Return to PCNMCPD Website” link.
- You will be redirected to the module page. Download option to download your course material will be available.
- Click on it to download save your course material on your computer. Once you are through with the study, please “Take rest” button to take the test. Please note that you don’t have to be online to study the material.
- Please note that pass mark is 80%. You can however continue to retake the test till you pass. And if you are successful in the exam, your score will be displayed on the top left corner of the screen.
- Click “Back to Dashboard” button to return to MCPD dashboard, your exam results and status will be available there.
- In case if you are not successful in any of the courses, click “Take test” button again to take the test again. Once you pass all courses in a module, you see the “Print Certificate” option for you to print your completion certificate.
- It can be accessed anytime you log back into your profile. Course materials will also be on your profile after successful completion of the module for future reference.

InstructionsEdit
- The registration forms for the MCPD Programme shall be made available by the Provider Centres for completion and submission by the prospective participants, with payment of the prescribed fees, directly on-line into “Pharmacists Council of Nigeria Account,” using PCN-MCPD customised tellers available at the Provider Centres.
- The payer’s copy of the customised teller must be presented as evidence of payment for the purpose of registration.
