ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person:

  1. To Apply for Search of Information Services in person, the applicant has to approach the Mauritius Corporate and Business Registration Department: Contact link
  2. Applicants should obtain the application form from the Corporate and Business Registration Department website or at the department's office.
  3. The applicant should carefully follow the instructions given in the Search for Information Services to obtain the necessary information.
  4. In case of any doubts, the applicants are free to ask the Corporate and Business Registration Department.
  5. Complete all the information required on the form and make sure to double-check for accuracy.
  6. Applicants must attach the required documents such as a valid photo ID, proof of address and the documents can be found under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  7. The applicant will be required to pay a fee for search and the fees details can be found under the “Fees” section of this page.
  8. Then the applicant needs to submit the form and the documents to the Corporate and Business Registration Department in person.
  9. Once their request is approved, the applicant will receive the Search for Information Services via email or mobile number.
  10. Then the applicant must wait for confirmation of their request. The department will process their request within 10 working days.
  11. Applicants can track their application status by calling or visiting the Corporate and Business Registration Department.


Apply Online 

  1. Applicant should visit the Mauritius National Search page and click the “Search” button link
  2. Select the Type of Search: An applicant can choose to search for corporate entities, such as companies, societies, associations, and foundations, as well as for business registration details.
  3. Enter the applicant’s Search Criteria: Depending on the type of search the applicant selects, they will need to enter the necessary information, such as a company name and registration number, to continue.
  4. Submit the applicant’s Search: Once the applicant has finished their search, they can click the "Submit" button to submit their request.
  5. Pay for the applicant’s Search: The applicant will be required to pay a fee for the search, which can be done using a credit card, debit card, or direct bank transfer.
  6. Receive the applicant’s Results: Once their payment has been processed, they will be able to view and download the results of the search.
  7. The processing time for an application for search of information is immediate.
