ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person

  1. To apply for an environmental complaint, the applicant should make the application to the Ministry of Environment, Solid Waste Management, and Climate Change. Please view the Ministry’s contact details through this link: Contact Details.
  2. Visit the Ministry’s office and obtain the complaint sheet at the front desk section of the office or download the complaint sheet through the ministry’s website via this link: Downloadables (Click on the “Complaint Sheet” hyperlink to download the form.)
  3. Fill in all the details in the application form.
  4. Once the complaint form is complete, the applicant should visit the ministry's office and submit it to the official at the compliant desk for free.
  5. The ministry will review the complaint made by the applicant and act to resolve it accordingly.


Apply Online

  1. To apply for an environmental complaint online, the applicant should make the application through the Mauritius government website (E-services portal) through this link: E-services portal
  2. On the E-service page, scroll down the page and select “2” to go to page three of the portal.
  3. On the page, scroll to find “Application for Environmental Complaint” and click on the hyperlink to go to the sign-in page.
  4. Then the applicant should enter his/her username and password to sign in if he/she already has an account and if the applicant is not a registered user, the applicant should click on the “Register (new user)” hyperlink to go to the registration page.
  5. Read the data protection information and click on the “Accept” button to proceed to the next page.
  6. Confirm citizenship by either clicking on the “Yes” or “No” button to go to the next page.
  7. For citizens, the applicant will be required to enter his/her name and the NIC number and for non-citizens, the applicant will be required to enter his/her name and passport number then click on the “Next” button to proceed to the next page.
  8. On this page, the applicant should enter his/her user name and password and then click on the “Next” button to go to the next page.
  9. Enter the applicant’s email address and then click on the “ Send OTP” button.
  10. Then the applicant will be sent an OTP code through his/her email address, enter the OTP code in the “Insert OTP” box and click on the “Next” button to continue.
  11. Once the applicant has completed creating the account, he/she should go to the E-service portal and find “Application for Environmental Complaint” on page 2 and click on the hyperlink to go to the sign-in page.
  12. The applicant should then enter his/her credentials and login and then the applicant will be directed to the application form for the scholarship.
  13. Complete the application form correctly and then attach all the required supporting documents to the application form.
  14. Upon completion of the online complaint form, click on the “SUBMIT” button to submit the form to the Ministry of Environment, Solid Waste Management, and Climate Change.
  15. The ministry will review the complaint made by the applicant and act to resolve it accordingly.
