ProcedureEdit

Apply in Person

  1. To apply for Assistant Supervisor or Supervisor (for Professional and local exams other than SC & HSC), you should make your application to the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES). Please view the MES contacts through this link Contact details
  2. Obtain the application form from the MES office at the front desk or download the form directly through this link application form
  3. Read and complete the form correctly. Then print the form.
  4. Then submit the complete application to the MES office in person or you can opt to send the application via mail or e-mail.
  5. The MES will receive and verify your application and if you meet the required merits for the Assistant Supervisor or Supervisor, they will contact you by email and invite you for an interview.
  6. Prepare all the original and photocopies of the required documents as instructed in the application form and visit the MES office.
  7. At the office, your documents will be assessed by the MES and if you meet the required standards, your application will be accepted.
  8. You will then be given the relevant documents to sign by the MES.


Apply online

  1. To apply for Assistant Supervisor or Supervisor (for Professional and local exams other than SC & HSC), you should make your application through the Mauritius Examination Syndicate (MES) e-service portal by visiting the MES website MES website
  2. On the website, on the information bar, click on the “E-Service” button to go to the e-service page.
  3. On the e-service page, click on the “Application For Assistant Supervisor/Supervisor” hyperlink to be directed to the online application form.
  4. Complete that application form correctly and then click on the “Submit” button to send your application.
  5. Upon submitting your application, the MES will contact you through your email address and inform you of the date and time you should visit the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES) office in person and submit the supporting documents.
  6. Prepare all the original and photocopies of the required documents as instructed in the application form and visit the MES office.
  7. At the office, your documents will be assessed by the MES and if you meet the required standards, your application will be accepted.

  • These documents should be submitted in original and photocopies.
  • Original documents will be returned to the applicant after photocopies have been certified correct

EligibilityEdit

To be eligible for the application, you should meet the following criteria:

  • Education Officers with previous experience as Assistant Supervisor at SC/HSC examinations
  • Deputy Head Teachers and Teachers/Senior Teachers with previous experience as Presiding Invigilator/Assistant Presiding Invigilator at the CPE examinations
  • Retired Officers who have occupied a post of responsibility in the public/approved recognized service (Public/Private).
  • Age - between 22 and 70 years
  • Unemployed or retired from service
