ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person

  1. To apply for affiliation to the Senior Citizens Council, you should make your application to the Senior Citizen Council. Please view the Senior Citizens Council contact details through this Contact details.
  2. First, make sure that you have registered your association with the registrar of associations and obtain the certificate of association.
  3. Then Obtain all the forms for preparation of the required supporting documents from the Senior Citizens Council website through this Affiliation or refer to the “Documents to Use” section below to download the forms.
  4. Then prepare the rest of the required documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section below.
  5. Visit the council’s office and submit your complete application alongside all the required documents to the service officer at the reception and pay the required fee.
  6. Then the application will be verified by the responsible council officials to determine if you meet the merits for affiliation.
  7. Upon the assessment process and if the application is successful, you will be registered as an affiliation to the Senior Citizens Council and you will be issued the affiliation certificate.

  • Copy of Rules and Regulations of the Association with the stamp of Registrar of Association on each page and initials of Secretary of Association on each page.
  • Copy of Security Bond.
  • List of Office Bearers i.e., name, gender, address, I.D. number, and phone number.
  • List of all members i.e., name, gender, address, I.D. number, and phone number.

To be affiliated with the Senior Citizens Council, you should be:

  • Registered with the Registrar of Associations
  • Be 55 years of age and above
  • The minimum number of Members required per Association for affiliation is 50

  • The books shall be open to inspection to any person having an interest in the funds of the Association.
  • All books and documents shall be kept at the seat of the Association.
