Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To obtain License or Permit to Import Beef in person, the applicant/importer has to visit his/her authorized dealer bank.
2. Visit the bank and inform the relevant authority that you need to obtain a Form-M. He/she will assist you with that.
3. You will have to provide all the details and important documents that is required for the process.
4. Follow the instructions of the authority and obtain the Form M.
5. Then, applicant has to make an application at the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control.

8. Visit the office as applicable and get an application form for License or Permit to Import Beef as applicable to your requirement, from the respective department.
9. Make sure that you have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
10. Now, complete the application form with appropriate information under relevant sections. Attest it with your signature once completed.
11. Once completed filling the application form, submit it in person to the relevant authority at the office.
12. After submission, the application and other documents will be forwarded for examination and verification processes.
13. Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take required steps to issue the permit.
14. When the document is ready to be collected, the applicant will receive a formal notification from the office through phone or email and the applicant can collect it by any applicable means.
