  • Fill the application form with the complete information.

Applicant's Documents

  • Original and copy of the identity card
  • Original and copy of the Birth Certificate or latest extract of Birth Certificate or Adoption Certificate
  • Original and copy of the Marriage document registered in accordance with the written law in Malaysia
  • Original and copy of the Entry permit or extract of details from the applicants identity card register
  • Original and copy of the Passport or other travel document
  • 3 recent passport-sized photographs with a blue background

Husband's Documents

  • Original and copy of the identity card
  • Original and copy of the Birth Certificate or latest extract of Birth Certificate
  • Original and copy of the Citizenship Certificate
  • Original and copy of the Passport or other travel document
  • 1 recent passport-sized photograph with a blue background

Documents of the parents and sibling

  • Copy of the identity card

Children's Documents

  • Copy of the Birth Certificate
  • Copy of the Identity card

All copies of supporting documents should be made on A4 paper

EligibilityEdit

This is an application by a married woman whose husband is a citizen.

  • The marriage must still be in effect
  • Must have resided in the federation throughout the two years preceding the date of application and intends to do so permanently
  • Must be of good character
  • Marriage must be registered under written laws in force in the federation



FeesEdit

  • Application fee - RM 10.00
  • Fee for the issuance of Citizenship Certificate RM 300.00 (if approved)



ValidityEdit

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.
e.g. Birth Certificate Valid Forever
