Procedure

1. Gather all documents you will need to present or submit to apply for the procedure. All required documents must be in original form, make sure to keep a copy just in case.
2. Complete an application and submit it along with all other required documents.

• Original Certificate of Vehicle Registration
• Vehicle Inspection Certificate (except tractors, construction vehicles and agricultural).
• Gas Emission Certificate (except trailers, tractors, construction vehicles and agricultural vehicles less than two years of use).
• Insurance Certificate (except trailers)
• Proof of payment of the fee
• For lost plates: Written report (signed and sealed)
• National identification card for nationals or Certificate of Permanent Residence for foreigners
• For legal entities: Articles of Incorporation
• For representatives: Notarized power of attorney

All required documents must be in original form, make sure to keep a copy just in case.
