ProcedureEdit

  1. To apply for the permit you must complete the BNF export permit application form, and submit it to the Bureau of National Fisheries. A link is provided under 'Documents to Use' section which you can use to download the application form, you can also obtain a copy of the form at BNF's office. Do not forget to attach all the required documents (see list below) to your application when you submit it.
  2. The Export Permit Committee will conduct a due diligence evaluation of the application to ensure that the quantity of fish declared for export concurs with inspection and tally reports.
  3. Submit payment to the General Revenue Account of the Government of Liberia at the Ministry of Finance. Payment to be valued at 10% of total export value, and submitted as Fish Export Permit Fee
  4. Upon payment to the government revenue account and the submission of a revenue receipt confirming payment to the Bureau of National Fisheries, an Official Authorization will be issued for the exportation of fish.
