*Make sure that the place which you want to apply power for is well built and you would have done already with things ranging from earthing to full wiring by an experienced electrician with a Certificate of operation from the electricity distribution company.<br />
*Go to the nearest offices and get the application forms, fill in the application form all the details information.<br />
*Pay a surveying fee of $18 equivalent of Ugandan shilling 43,000(forty three thousand shilling only) at any bank of your choice in Uganda<br />
*Submit the filled in application form with detailed information to nearest office, attach the receipt payment for surveying fee. <br />
*An installation inspector or surveyor will then visit your place to verify that the wiring and earthing conform to required standards, and will be required to fill an inspection survey form at site. AD-20 form will be prepared if you pass all the required tests of conformity. In most cases it take an average time of five (5) days to two(2) week<br />
*Once the installation is found to be in conformity with set standards, internal processing of your application will be effected.<br />
*After your application is verified , you will be required to pay a capital contribution of:<br />
**Uganda shilling 98,000 (ninety eight thousand shilling only) for no pole service<br />
**Uganda shilling 326,000 (three hundred twenty six thousand shilling only) for one (I) pole service<br />
**Uganda shilling 100,000 (one hundred thousand shilling only) as a security deposit for domestic consumers of single phase supply<br />
**Uganda shilling 200,000 ( two hundred thousand shilling only) for both commercial consumer of single- phase supply and three-phase ordinary supply<br />
