*Any person who intends to operate as a professional trapper, trapping outfitter, involve in trapping activities or trainer must first register and apply for a professional Trapper Licence, and then obtain a permit from Ghana forestry commission that authorizes him/ her to operate as professional trapper, trapping outfitter.

*A professional trappers Licence shall not authorize the licensee to hunt any protected animal except as may be necessary in defence of human life.
*A professional trappers Licence shall not entitle the licensee to use any snare, poison or poisoned weapon for capturing any animal or to shoot at any animal except when that act is immediately and absolutely necessary in defence of himself or herself and any other person.
