1.To obtain a rental box, an applicant starts by identifying the nearest post office. A list of regional post offices can be viewed by visiting http://www.laposte.sn/index.php/directions-regionales-.html;

2.When the most appropriate and nearby post office is identified, the applicant must visit it to apply for a rental box;

3.The applicant upon arrival at the identified post office presents the required documents and makes the necessary subscription fees;

4.Thereafter, a rental box is a signed to the applicant and a key for the box is given to him / her;

An individual or group of individuals or company / business entity in the country.

==Fees==
Annual subscription fees vary basing on the applicant and are as below:<br>
(i)Individual Applicants
*In Urban areas 9600 FCFA
*In Rural areas 4800 FCFA

(ii)Associations, mutual GIE, ASC and other related applicants 24,000 FCFA

(iii)Companies and administrations 48,000 FCFA

3.If subscription is not renewed in a given period of time, a rental box is re-issued to another applicant;

4.Applicants must not doubt confidentiality of mails receive through rental boxes;

5.Keys of rental boxes must be kept in a safe place;

6.Applicants must know that its La Poste Sngalaise with the right to allow or reject subscription;

7.Applicants are argued to follow rules and regulations of La Poste Sngalaise if a rental box is assigned;

8.Applicants must also know that La Poste Sngalaise has the right to terminate a customer's subscription if he / she violates the postal laws;

9.An applicant must take note of the operating hours and days of an identified post office;

The mails include correspondences like letters, documents, goods, packages and parcels. Matters concerning postal services in Senegal are handled by La Poste Sngalaise under the guidelines and supervision of Ministry of Postal Service, Telecommunications, and New Information & Communication Technologies
