==Procedure==
#The seller and buyer or their representatives should appear in person before the Directorate of Licensing.
#They will fill up and submit the application form along with all the necessary requirements.
#The designated officer will check if all the requirements are properly complied with.
#The officer will also check that there is no mortgage of restriction from a court or any other authority.

One of the mandates of the Directorate General of Traffic is to ensure the safety of all road users. It carries out the task of vehicles inspection and licensing, testing and licensing of drivers, investigation of traffic accidents, and installation of road signs.

3.) Private pick ups cannot be transferred to an Omani national having a similar type or a 25 passenger bus with a private number.
