#To apply for a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) visit the Road Traffic Directorate Office.
#Application forms to obtain a PrDP are available at the service counters or you may download one from their website (link is provided under 'Documents to Use' section).
#Submit a completed application form and medical certificate.
#You also need to submit two portrait photograph.
#Pay the application fee.
#Before a Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) is issued to you, you must first pass the driving test.

==Eligibility==
*Applicant must be of minimum age for the vehicle category and/or permit applied for.
*Not disqualified from obtaining or holding any learner licence, driving licence, international driving permit or professional driving permit
*No learner licence, driving licence, international driving permit or professional driving permit held by me within the past three years has been suspended or cancelled.
*Do not suffer from any of the following diseases or disabilities:
**Uncontrolled epilepsy;
**Sudden attacks of disabling giddiness or fainting due to hypertension or any other disease;
**Any form of mental illness to such a degree that it is necessary for the applicant to be detained, supervised, controlled and treated as a patient in terms of the mental health legislation;
**Any condition causing muscular incoordination;
**Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus; and
**Any other disease or disability which is likely to render the applicant incapable of effectively driving and controlling a motor vehicle of the class applied for in traffic without endangering public safety.
*Not addicted to the use of any drug, having a narcotic effect or the excessive use of intoxicating liquor.
*Applicant must meet the minimum vision requirements prescribed in regulation 7 for the vehicle category applied for and do not suffer from defective vision when using: NO corrective lenses / CORRECTIVE LENSES
*Applicant must not be suffering from any medical condition that disqualifies him/her from holding a driving licence in terms of the
provisions of the Road Traffic Act and regulations and for purposes of driving a motor vehicle
