#The application shall be made in writing using a prescribed form; Registration for Pyrethrum Grower Form MPICD/1d (Grant/Renewal), obtainable at the Pyrethrum Directorate County government office.
#Upon obtaining the application form, the applicant should legibly complete the forms, attach the relevant supporting documentation as listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page. The complete file should be submitted to the AFA Pyrethrum Directorate County government office.
#In addition to the required documents, the Directorate will require the dealer to submit the Quarterly Returns, using Pyrethrum Dealer Returns Form- MPICD/1i, also obtainable at the Pyrethrum Directorate County government office, not later than the tenth day of the first month after the end of that quarter.
#Upon submission of the application, the receiving officer will check for discrepancies or ineligibility in the application documents. If a discrepancy that cannot be immediately corrected exists in any of the documents, the application and all the submitted documents will be returned to the applicant and should not be re-submitted until the discrepancy has been rectified corrected.
#Where all the required information and documents have been submitted for processing, applicants will receive an acknowledgment receipt as proof of submission of the application and for future inquiry.

#This is followed by an assessment of the submitted documentation, information and inspection of the grower field (where applicable), by the Board. A person shall not be issued with a license/certificate of registration as a pyrethrum dealer unless the board—

*Any grower, who carries on business as such without being registered in accordance with the regulations or knowingly or recklessly supplies false particulars, shall be guilty of an offense and shall be subject to the penalties prescribed under Section 19 (1) of the Crops Act.
*No person can act as a pyrethrum grower unless he is the holder of a current registration certificate/license issued in respect thereof by the Board after consultation with the Director. Therefore grower needs to renew their certificates to continue with operations.
