&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Step 1: Ensure that you meet the eligibility criteria.&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
*The eligibility criteria is as follows;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
; 	For a group&lt;br /&gt;
#	Is registered with the department of social services, Cooperatives or the Registrar of Societies&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Has members aged between 18 and 35 years whereas the women’s groups shall be made up of women aged eighteen years and above&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Is based and operational at the constituency it seeks to make an application for consideration&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Operates a table banking structure or any other group fund structure where members make monthly contributions according to the groups’ internal guidelines (evidence of monthly contributions shall be a requirement);&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Hold a bank account in the name of the group.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
;	For an institution&lt;br /&gt;
#	Is a registered entity&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Has listed youth and women groups within it.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Step 2: Make the Application.&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
*	Fill in an application form so as to make the application.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
*	This forms are available from the Constituency Uwezo Fund Management Committee office, CDF Offices or you can download [http://kisumuwest.cdf.go.ke/download/send/3-uwezo-forms/139-uwezo-application-form Uwezo Fund Loan Application Form] from the [https://www.uwezo.go.ke/ Uwezo Fund Website]&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
*	This form is to be completed in Triplicate (original to be sent to Constituency Uwezo Fund Committee, a copy for the group and a processed copy to be sent to the National Secretariat.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Step 3: Submission of Application Form&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
*	Submit the duly filled application form (in duplicate) together with relevant documents to the Constituency Uwezo Fund Management Committee Office for processing.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
*	The Constituency Uwezo Fund Management Committee will vet the applications to determine their approval.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Step 4: Await Notification from the Committee&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
*	Successful applicants will receive notification from the Constituency Uwezo Fund Management Committee.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
*	This is followed by a group training for Capacity Building Programme, after which they will be given training certificates.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt; &lt;br /&gt;
*	After the training the funds will be released to the applicant’s bank accounts.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
; Eligible Amount&lt;br /&gt;
# For administration of the Fund:-&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#:*	The access by eligible groups of the Fund, shall be on a first come first served basis, subject to assessment and approval of the loan, provided that the Committee shall ensure equitable distribution of funds in the wards&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#:*	Eligible qualifying amounts for a group shall be a minimum of fifty thousand 50,000) and a maximum of five hundred thousand (500,000) shillings at any one time.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
# In determining the total amount a group is eligible to receive, the following criteria shall be applied:-&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#:*	The length of time the group has been in existence&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#:*	The total amount contributed by the group&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#:*	The current status of contribution and&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#:*	The proposed business plan for the loan applied&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
;NB: The eligible amount shall be three times the group savings BUT it shall not be:-&lt;br /&gt;
*	Below Kshs. 50,000 (Minimum),&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
*	More than the amount applied for in the application form and&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
*	More than Kshs. 500,000 (Maximum)&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
==Required Documents==&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	A duly filled in application form&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	A signed guarantee form executed by each member of the group individually committing to repay the loan requested by the group.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Copy of registration certificate from the department of social services, Cooperatives&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;  &lt;br /&gt;
#	Registrar of Societies certificate&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Duly signed list of members with ID and telephone numbers&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Evidence that group/institution is based and operational at the constituency it seeks to apply for funding.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Evidence table banking structure or any other group fund structure where members make monthly contributions according to the groups’ internal guidelines (evidence of monthly contributions shall be a requirement), &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Evidence on the length of time the group has been in existence.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Evidence on the total amount contributed by the group&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Evidence of the current status of contribution; and&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Bank account statement in the name of the group.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Evidence of table banking or any other group savings structure&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Proposed business plan&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
#	Groups will be required to sign an agreement with the Constituency Uwezo Fund Management Committee on the terms of the loan repayment prior to release of funds.&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
