Route Taxis must have:<br><br />
*Red PPV licence plates<br />
*"Route Taxi" written on the doors<br />
*The particulars relating to the route legibly printed on the outside of the front doors<br />
* A Transport Authority sticker on the windshield<br />
*A globe bearing the word "Taxi" on the top of the vehicle<br />
*Colour Code: a checked pattern in black and white. The pattern should be oriented horizontally and measure 10cm (4”) in height. Each check should be 2.5cm (1”) squares<br />
*Transport Authority Driver Identification Card in the vehicle<br />
*Must be fitted with an Electronic Monitoring Device (tracking device)<br />
*The driver must wear a Transport Authority identification badge<br />
*The driver of every taxi should be in possession of a PPV driver’s licence<br />
*Must be attired in approved uniform<br />
