*A Regional Transport Authority may, on an application made to it under Rule 174 (iv) of the Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989 grant a goods carriage permit to be valid throughout the State 
*This permit need to be renewed before the validity of the permit lapses to ply the vehicle for the service. 
*Truck Permit is needed for a vehicle operator to ply his vehicle to carry goods from one place to another.
