==Eligibility==
*All educated unemployed persons shall be eligible for the grant of unemployment allowance who are qualified for getting a job but are not able to find employment due to various reasons.
*His/her age is between 18-30 years.
*The total family income of parents should not exceed Rs.60,000/- p.a.
*He/She should have minimum two years registration in the Special Employment Exchange in the U.T. Chandigarh.
*He/She should have been residing in U.T. Chandigarh for a period of at least three years immediately before the submission of application.

Maximum age of 30 (If there is any sealing period as derived by the administration)

*The Departments of Employment in various States of India allow unemployed educated youth residing in the respective States to pre-register for impending job vacancies occurring in different sectors of that State.
*Those who are registered with employment exchange and not provided employment are provided with allowance.
*Candidates who possess educational qualifications other than those of professional and executive standards can register their educational qualifications with the respective Employment Exchanges in their districts
