#Applicants are required to collect the Application for Transfer of Land Rights Form; Copies of the Application Form are available for free at any of the Botswana Land Board or Sub Land Board office or the department of land office or download it directly using this [https://www.gov.bw/sites/default/files/2020-03/form%206B%2014%20application%20for%20transfer.pdf Application form Link]
#The application form duly completed in all respect, and the supporting documentation as mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page, should be submitted to the Botswana Land Board or Sub Land Board office within their jurisdiction.
#The receiving officer will then verify that all the necessary documentation and information have been provided and that the applications comply with the selection criteria before registering the file for evaluation and processing, which is within one month.
#Applicants will be required to make payment of the prescribed fee as mentioned on the “Fees” section of this page; either at the cash desk at the land board office and obtain a payment receipt.
#Applicants will then be issued with an acknowledgment letter as proof of submission of the application.
#After the lapse of the processing period which is within one month, applicants should visit the land board office, where the application was filed to check the outcome.
#If the application was successful, the Land Rights transfer will be registered and a land certificate will be printed on a paper with special security features and issued to the applicant against their identity document and the acknowledgment letter.

*Letter of representation (For Societies/Churches/Business) or Power of attorney in case of companies
