#On submission of the application file, the BHPC Registration & Licensing office will check for discrepancies or ineligibility in the application documents. If a discrepancy that cannot be immediately corrected exists in any of the documents, the application and all the submitted documents will be returned to the applicant and should not be re-submitted until the discrepancy has been rectified.
#If the officer is satisfied that all the requirements have been met for the application for the permit the application file is registered and the applicant is issued with an acknowledgement slip as proof of submission of the application and and for inquiry referencing if the need arises.
#The application file will then be forwarded to the Botswana Health Professions Council committee board for assessment and evaluation.
#After a successful evaluation phase, when all regulatory requirements for approval of the license are satisfactorily met, the applicant will then be summoned by the BHPC and required to take a written test and interview by the BHPC committee board.
#The BHPC committee board reserve the right to request additional information relevant to the application. In such a case, the information must be submitted within the stipulated time from the date of notification. Where the applicant fails to submit the required information, the application shall be rejected.
#Upon completion of the examination the applicant will be required to pay an application fee of BWP 30.00 as per the BHCP preferable payment mode and obtain a BHPC payment slip.
#Only applicants who have successfully passed the interview and examination, will be registered with the BHPC and issued with a BHCP Registration Certificate/ Practice certificate.
#Proceed to the BHPC office and present the acknowledgment letter and identity document and proof of payment of the license fee to be validated by the registrar and collect the certificate.
