#Collect and complete the Application form for Motor Dealer License or Permit,available at the inquiries desk at the Department of Road Transport and Safety Offices across the country. Copies of these forms are not available online.
#The applicant will be required to submit the following certified documents in addition to the duly completed application form in all respect to the nearest DRTS office, permit-issuing unit. Any omission of these documents will render the registration process incomplete:
#:*Certified copy of valid national ID card of applicant (Omang for citizens and valid passport/ resident permit for foreigners).
#:*Copy of valid trading license obtained from the Local Authority.
#Additional information may be given on a separate sheet of paper if there is insufficient room on the application form.
#Upon receipt of the application file, the license issuing officer will verify if all the necessary information and documentation has been provided and that the applications comply with the selection criteria before processing the application.
#The client will be advised by the license issuing officer to pay the applicable permit fee as mentioned under the “Fees” section of this page, at the DRTS cash counter and obtain a receipt.
#Present the payment receipt to the license issuing officer, who will then draw up the Motor Dealer License and have it signed and stamped by a senior/authorized officer and issue it to the client against the applicant identification document.
#The license shall be subject to such terms and conditions as the authorized official/ministry deems fit to impose in each case, and such terms and conditions or requirements shall be endorsed on the license.
