*Arkansas Vital Records is responsible for the collection and issuance of Death Certificates<br />
*Death Certificates are available for events that occurred within the State of Arkansas from February 1, 1914 to present.<br />
*The only death records that are available prior to 2/1/1914 are for events that occurred in Little Rock from 1881 to present.<br />
*Most certificate requests can be processed the same day if you are in the Vital Records office by 4:00 P.M. and have all the required information needed to search for the certificate.<br />
*Customers who arrive in the office after 4:00 P.M. may pick up their request the following day or may ask that it be mailed.<br />
