Birth registration will allow the child to have the right to a name and to acquire a nationality. Only 49% of children in the Central African Republic have their birth certificates

Application can be done at mobile registration offices moving from one village to the next. Some of the citizens living in the forests can register for free

Required Information

  • Name of the child
  • Date of birth
  • Names of the parents
  • City and province of birth
  • The date, name and signature of the certifying Registrar, Acting Registrar or Secretary, and the office seal.


Submit the parents’ identity card at the registration office
