Bahamas - Apply for License to Import Plants and Flowers

Introduction

This permit allows persons to import plants and flowers.

Instructions

Please provide instructions on obtaining the certificate/documents.
e.g. The state office holds birth records since january 1908.

Required Information

A list which displays the kind of information which is required to complete the procedure.
e.g.
1. Date of Birth.
2. City or County of Birth.

Procedure

  1. Applicant completes and submits the Application for License to Import Goods - Plants and Flowers.
  2. Applicant pays the relevant fee.
  3. After approval, the applicant will be issued with the permit.
  4. Applicant submits permit and phyto-sanitary certificate from the exporting country to an Agricultural Officer or Customs Officer at the port of entry.

Required Documents

  • For Commercial Traders, a valid Business Licence is required.
  • Phyto-sanitary Certificate from country of export.

Fees

BS$2.00 processing fee

Validity

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.
e.g. Birth Certificate Valid Forever
