For People living inside Mauritius
  1. People who wish to apply for the Certificate of Morality can be done in one of the head quarters of police. Following is the list of places where you can find the police head quarters.
  • Piton
  • Abercombie
  • Line Barracks
  • Rose Hill
  • Curepipe
  • Rose Belle
  • Flacq
  • Rodrigues
  1. Make sure you have the required documents.
For People who live outside Mauritius
  1. If you are living outside Mauritius you have to contact one of the Mauritius Embassies which is near by you.
  2. Make sure you have the required documents.

Required Documents

Living inside Mauritius
  1. Original and 2 certified copies of your Birth Certificate, National Identity Card and where applicable Marriage/Divorce Certificate/New Marriage Certificate/Death Certificate of Spouse. If you have worked in Mauritius, you should submit evidence of employment.
  2. A letter signed by you stating the reasons for the application.
  3. Copy of Visa/Residency Status in the country where you live right now.
  4. A Police Report stating that you have not been involved/convicted for any crime.
  5. 2 sized passport photos
Living out side Mauritius

If you are living outside Mauritius and you are contacting one of the Embassy, you have to provide the following documents aswell.

  1. A Money Order of 10.00 USD in favour of the Embassy of Mauritius as processing fee.
  2. A self-addressed Registered Envelope.

Fees

Validity

Explain the time until which the certificate/document is valid.
